Swaziland

The Kingdom of Swaziland is a sovereign state in Southern Africa. English and siSwati are the official languages of Swaziland. English is the medium of communication in schools. The country obtained independence from the UK on September 6 1968.

Tanzania

The United Republic of Tanzania is located in East Africa. Tanganyika and Zanzibar merged to form the United Republic of Tanzania in 1964. Tanganyika gained independence from the UK in 1961 and Zanzibar and Pemba in 1963. English and Swahili are the official languages of Tanzania.

English and Swahili are the official languages of the Republic of Uganda. The nation gained independence from the UK in 1962, maintaining its Commonwealth membership. All Ugandan schools and universities are required by law to teach in English.
