10) Maya-Maya Airport – $160 Million (Rep. Congo)
Located in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, this airport is hub for Equatorial Congo Airlines. A 3,300 meter long runway and a new terminal with air-bridges were opened in Maya-Maya Airport in 2010.
9) Bamako–Sénou International Airport – $181 Million (Mali)
Located 15 km south of downtown Bamako, the Bamako-Senou International Airport is the main airport of Mali. It was opened to traffic in 1974. It was upgraded recently (2007-2012) in a $181 million project funded by the United States foreign aid agency, Millennium Challenge Corporation.
