6) Hurghada International Airport – $155 Million (Egypt)
This international airport is located in Hurghada, Egypt. Currently this airport is served by one terminal. Construction of a new terminal complex at a cost of $335 million has started. The project was inaugurated by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on December 17 2014. After its completion, the airport will be able to handle 13 million visitors annually.
5) Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport – $306 Million (Mauritius)
A new passenger terminal was inaugurated in the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport on August 30 2013. This airport is the primary international airport in Mauritius, located southeast of the capital city of Port Louis. It became fully operational in September 2013. The structure of the new terminal resembles that of a traveler’s palm, a tropical plant that grows in the region.
