4) Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport (Terminal 3) – $350 Million
Formerly Ophira International Airport, this airport is located in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. On May 23 2007, the second terminal of the Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport was inaugurated with a capacity for 5 million passengers per year. In 2008, the Egyptian Airports Holding Company announced plans to build a third new terminal at the airport. The intention was to double the capacity. The project’s primary costs were estimated at $350 million.
3) Enfidha – Hammamet International Airport – $520 Million (Tunisia)
This public airport is owned by Tunisian Airport Authority and is located in Enfidha, Tunisia. Its construction began in 2007. The airport was opened to the public on December 1 2009.
