Visa Free Countries For Nigerian Passport

Kenya

Passport and/or passport replacing documents must be valid for at least 6 months from date of arrival. Admission refused to visitors from or who have transited Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

A valid “East African Tourist Visa” issued by Rwanda or Uganda is accepted provided having first entered the country that issued the visa. The visa is valid for 90 days and multiple entries/re-entries. Nationals of Nigeria can obtain a visa on arrival for a stay of max. 3 months. Visitors are required to hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay (at least USD500) and documents for their next destination.

Visitors holding damaged passports and/or passport replacing documents will be refused entry. Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry.

Maldives

Passport or passport replacing documents must be valid for the period of intended stay. Nationals of Nigeria can obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 30 days. Extensions of stay possible up to a maximum of 90 days, for a fee of MVR 750.

Visitors are required to hold documents for their next destination. Visitors (who do not have a Hotel reservation or a Maldivian sponsor) are required to hold at least USD 30 per person per day to cover their stay. Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry. Visitors, arriving from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone must obtain a visa prior to departure for Maldives.

Mauritania

Passport or passport replacing documents must be valid on arrival. Visitors are required to hold documents required for their next destination. Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry.

Mozambique

Passport or passport replacing documents must be valid on arrival. Nationals of Nigeria can obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 30 days at Beira (BEW), Nampula (APL), Maputo (MPM), Pemba (POL), Tete (TET) and Vilankulo (VNX).
Visitors are required to hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay and documents required for their next destination. Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry.

Nauru

Passport or passport replacing documents must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the period of intended stay. Nationals of Nigeria traveling as a tourist can obtain a visa on arrival provided holding a confirmed hotel reservation. Free of charge.

Visitors are required to hold of confirmed accommodation and documents required for their next destination. Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry.

Palau

Passport and/or passport replacing documents must be valid for at least 6 months from date of arrival.

Nationals of Nigeria can obtain a visa on arrival for a max. stay of 30 days for a fee of USD 50. Extension is possible. Visitors are required to hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay (USD 200 per week) and documents required for their next destination. Visitors must hold return/onward tickets.

Samoa

Passport or passport replacing documents must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the period of intended stay.

Nationals of Nigeria can obtain an Entry (or Transit) Permit for a maximum stay of 60 days on arrival. Visitors are required to hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay and documents required for their next destination. Extension of stay is possible. Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry.
