Visa Free Countries For Nigerian Passport

Seychelles

Passport or passport replacing documents must be valid for the period of intended stay.

Nationals of Nigeria can apply for a visa at www.ics.gov.sc. Visitors wishing to stay longer than the permitted stay should apply for an extension at least one week to its expiry. Visitor’s permits are not extendable beyond 12months. Admission refused to visitors arriving in the Seychelles who have visited Guinea, Liberia, Mali or Sierra Leone within 21days prior to arrival in the Seychelles. Admission refused to nationals of Nigeria not holding a visa obtained prior to departure for the Seychelles.

Somalia

Passports or passport replacing documents must be valid on arrival. Holders of passports issued by Nigeria can obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 30 days. Upon arrival all visitors must exchange USD 100 or equivalent of other freely convertible foreign currencies into local currency:

Tanzania

Nationals of Nigeria can obtain a visa on arrival, provided holding travel documents valid for at least 1 month beyond the period of intended stay. For a fee between USD 50 and USD 100.

Additional Information: Visitors are required to hold documents required for their next destination. Passports and passport replacing documents of all visitors must contain at least 1 unused visa page. Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry.

Timor-Leste

Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from date of arrival. Nationals of Nigeria can obtain a single entry visa on arrival, for a maximum stay of 30 days, provided passport contains 1 unused visa page. Visa fee is USD 30 (payable in US dollars only).

Nationals of Nigeria may extend their stay to a total cumulative stay of 90 days by submitting their application to the Immigration Department. A fee of USD35 for up to 30 days and USD 75 for 30 to 60 days.- Visitors are required to hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay (USD 150 per day), proof of hotel accommodations arrangements and documents required for their next destination.- Those who have overstayed their visa may be subject to fines. Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry.

Tuvalu

Passport or passport replacing documents must be valid for at least 6 months from date of arrival. Visa required, except for Nationals of Nigeria can obtain a visa on arrival, for a maximum stay of 1 month, provided holding confirmed return/onward tickets.

Uganda

Passport or passport replacing documents must be valid for at least 6 months from date of arrival.

Holders of normal, emergency or temporary passports issued to nationals of Nigeria can obtain a visa on arrival for USD 50. Visitors are required to provide contact details of a person or organization in Uganda and an address and phone number of the place of stay in Uganda, proof of the purpose of stay and sufficient funds to cover their stay; documents required for their next destination. Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry.
